HUATONG Angola Industrial Co., Ltd. was established, and the first phase of the electrolytic aluminum project was completed and put into operation the following year, marking the Group’s entry into the primary aluminum business and further strengthening its industry chain layout.
2024
The Group’s Panama company was put into operation, further strengthening the localized production and service capabilities of its core cable business and improving responsiveness to regional market demand.
2021
On May 11, 2021, Hebei HUATONG Wires & Cables Group Co., Ltd. was successfully listed on the Main Board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, stock code 605196.SH.
2019
Look Overseas
Established Busan Cable Engineering Co., Ltd. and HANYI Electric Design & Manufacturing Co., Ltd., further improving the Group’s business presence in Northeast Asia and enhancing its localized engineering service and market response capabilities.
2018
Established EVERWELL Cameroon Cables, enabling localized production and sales of electrical equipment, wires, and cables in Africa and strengthening the Group’s overseas industrial layout.
2017
Look Overseas
EVERWELL Tanzania was completed and put into operation, establishing a localized production system and efficient service support capability covering the East African region and supporting the steady growth of the Group’s overseas business.
2016
HUATONG Shares was listed on the NEEQ, and the Group was renamed Hebei HUATONG Wires & Cables Group Co., Ltd. It was delisted from the NEEQ in September of the following year and began preparations for a Main Board listing.
2008
Small Success Achieved
In 2008, the company relocated to a new facility in the Fengnan Economic Development Zone in Tangshan and was renamed Hebei HUATONG Wires & Cables Group Co., Ltd.
2002
Tangshan HUATONG Wire & Cable Factory held its first shareholders’ meeting, at which it was decided to establish Tangshan HUATONG Wires & Cables Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
1993
Initial Period
In 1993, Tangshan HUATONG Electric Wire Factory was established at Shengli Road Primary School in Lunan District, Tangshan, with its registered address on Huayuan Street.
